Real Estate Is About More Than Property.
Real estate has never been just about houses for me. It’s about people navigating change—moving toward something new, letting go of something familiar, or deciding what the next season should look like. My job is to bring calm, strategy, and perspective to that transition.
I was born and raised in Houston and lived there until I was 30. In January 1994, I moved to Austin to marry my amazing wife, Michell. We spent the next several years living in and around Austin before making Bastrop home in 2001.
I began my real estate career in 2004, spent several years away in Kansas beginning in 2007, and returned to Bastrop in 2014, when I stepped back into real estate and into the community I had come to appreciate as home.
My approach has always been part strategy and part creativity. I enjoy helping sellers see their homes through a buyer’s eyes, making smart presentation and staging decisions, and negotiating with a clear head when the details matter most. Just as important, I understand that buying or selling often marks a major life transition—and I try to make that transition feel a little more manageable.
There’s More to Life Than Real Estate.
Outside of real estate, life revolves around family, creativity, food, and community. Michell and I have built a life together that now includes four children and seven grandchildren—so there’s rarely a shortage of stories, opinions, or reasons to gather around a table.
My background as a restaurateur also shaped the way I see homes and communities. I’ve always been drawn to food, art, design, and the details that give a place personality. Those interests still influence the way I look at real estate—how a home presents, how people experience a space, and what makes a community feel memorable.

The best moves aren’t just about real estate. They’re about what comes next.
